Recreation of the DeviantArt Emoticons stress ball product shot.
Built with Blender 2.59, rendered with Cycles.
Faces were made in Flash MX 2004 then exported to PS for the UV maps.

Thanks for the interest, they were made in Blender an open source 3D software package, the chains were done using Blender's physics engine, stress-ball faces recreated in Flash MX Pro and exported to Photoshop and then UV mapped onto the balls back in Blender - then it was all rendered using Cycles render engine
Here is a WIP render before any tweaks were done on the lighting & materials. [link]
